I created this video in response to the many questions I've received about the kind of fabrics this machine is capable of sewing.
In this video I do an extended demo of the Toyota FSG325 sewing machine. I sew two different weight jeans hem and a couple of different home deco fabrics to demonstrate the machines capabilities.
It is a long video that spans 31 minutes and 30 seconds. If you would like to advance to see it sew some heavy home deco fabric then advance to the 26:30 time stamp. I understand the length is a bit too long for the average Youtube viewer. However, I felt this was the best way to address many questions at once given my limited time to create this. I hope you'll understand.
Now that I've had a chance to use this machine for a while I've become a big fan of it. It has been able to sew through anything I've placed under the presser foot.
This is not a paid endorsement - I just really like the machine. They can be hard to find in the USA.
