Singer Heavy Duty Serger Stripped Bolt Issue. Keep reading to see my solution.
Singer has been notified of this issue and I am awaiting their response. I'll post their response here. Update: Singer finally responded.... they said this was not covered by the 90 day warranty on this machine. So much for them being proud and confident in their product!
What I ended up doing to fix it:
I bored out a larger screw hole. I had to also enlarge the opening of the bracket so it would fit the larger bolt. Tightened it down snugly and so far it has held up for over 6 months.
