I took the Singer Heavy Duty covers off and removed the bobbin assembly in order to clean and oil this 5 year old machine. It was making a clicking kind of noise so I knew this was needed in order to fix it. What I found was a lot of thread/fabric dust down where the bobbin shaft connect to the bobbin. I also took the time to show how to adjust the thread tension while it was easy to demonstrate. I hope this is helpful to the folks that asked how to address this issue. My next video will cover how I clean and oil the machine; set the bobbin timing (this will address many questions on this subject) and assemble it back together.
