The FHWA Mobile Asphalt Technology Center (MATC) staff were on hand at the 2023 Transportation Research Board annual meeting to give conference attendees a look inside the new MATC. New features include a 29-foot section that can extend 5 feet wider than the old trailer to accommodate 20 people for classroom-style training, demonstrations, and open-house events, solar panels on the roof, and a wheelchair lift.
