As the title suggests, this is an all out Relic Rant.
I don't think there's anything more I can say in the description that I won't already be covering in this video, but I'll narrow it down for you and reward you for checking description sections like I always encourage you to do....
In the closing few minutes of this video I make the statement that "Void keys were better, that's not an opinion, its cold hard fact."
I am a player of the game no different than anyone else. I am not partnered with Warframe as an official content creator therefore I do not receive handouts. Everything I showcase was acquired through vigorous hard work on my end. That being said, prime acquisition takes MUCH longer now than it ever did due to a few simple key variables.
-New relics introduced with every prime access.. Basic math here people, the more relics you have the more specific people get when radiant farming. If you limit the pool of options you crowd your community together making it easier for recruiting chat to find willing participants. As it is now... Its difficult to find anyone hunting specific weapon pieces.
-RnG contributing to Relic Acquisition. So this is the big one! This turns an otherwise "fun" game into a bitter chore. While it may be fun to run Pluto Heiracon. The same thing ran over and over again for relic acquisition is brain rottingly boring. And sure, one could argue that you could just do a different mission, but how long before the same mission is played out just the same. If specific missions yielded guaranteed drops for the completion of random tasks, then I doubt anyone would be frustrated come grind season!
-Ducat farms. Essentially the only way you acquire void traces is through other relics. Aside from the fact that Baro Kiteer is waaaay too expensive, does anyone remember the days where you could just stay in an endless void mission & get prime part after prime part without having to waste additional keys at 5 minute, or 5 wave intervals? Well that was a far superior method to endless relics now quite simply because you could stockpile prime parts and thus sell them in trade chat or get ducats (and a lot of them.) If I am having trouble buying Baro Kiteer merchandise because I lack ducats "me who has 40 million credits and over 400 endo with 4k hours of playtime & mastery 25 on my record" imagine how poorly a new player is doing desperately struggling to buy even just ONE primed mod?
These are all valid points that can't be overlooked and shouldn't be discarded. These are issues DE has yet to properly address, and as such, it leaves much to be desired, so players play the new content.... Get bored within an hour afterward and depart from Warframe to play something that doesn't feel so much like a chore! LIKE IF YOU AGREE!
