You don't really know anything about one of the core 3 elements of Exitium, "The Vajra." It will be explained in later videos, but for now, just know that it exists to warp realities. Rather its time travel, inter-dimensional warping, or the collision of 2 or more universes, The Vajra through pure rift power brings together characters from every flock of existence. So basically, its my excuse as a writer to draw in other fictional characters with the ones I've already created and done concept art for!
I'm actually working on something REALLY big and epic that pits 2 heavy hitters against each other. One is from a realm you know very very well, & the other is the main hero of Exitium. I can't disclose any information about it right now, because its an essential step to the next era of this YouTube page. Say good bye to God Builds, & hello to Screw Attack style episodic battles.
So back to this video.... As a father of 2 daughters, I often times take on projects just to see their faces light up. Well.... Only one of them is old enough to really appreciate it. The youngest one is 4 months old at the time of this upload. But hopefully when she gets a little older she can look back at all of the work her daddy has done on YouTube and take inspiration from that with whatever she chooses to do in life. So this video was intended to put the spotlight on the oldest's favorite Exitium character in the series. She just loves Rebecca's rainbow hair. I didn't really need anymore concept art for Rebecca since I've already done a piece a couple of years ago, but it wasn't a very clear image of her armor. So I figured "Eh, what the hell! Alice will enjoy this & I suppose it never hurts to feature Rebecca suited up fully & leading the charge with 2 other more mainstream gun girls."
So on the left you obviously have "Yoko Littner" she's from tengen toppa gurren lagann. Now I've gotta be honest here. I've never seen this anime, I don't even know what the hell its about. I'm not much of an anime guy despite some of my artwork being so anime-esque. All I know is Yoko is pretty mainstream. Many people may not know her name, but they know her face and cosplay her costume all the damn time. So I figured she'd draw in a bigger crowd to my art if I featured her.
The same can be said for "Hatsune Miku" who is from a singing voice synthesizer software called "Vocaloid." Hatsune Miku is another massively popular anime character known the world over for her iconic look & cosplay presence. I really just wanted an excuse to make a montage of cute anime girls using a song I knew Alice would love. Although I'm not dedicating this video to Alice, it was pretty much done for her.
We as a family have been going through a rough patch, & Alice has had to experience more than what most little girls should never have to, & for that I just wanted to bring a little light to her life amidst all of the chaos .
