Today I am making a Tiki cocktail that I just discovered. I'm making a Top Notch Volcano, tiki bowl cocktail today, and I'm in love with it. I have the perfect mug for it too. It's time to put my new @D_S_Edwards mug into action. The Top Notch Volcano is a large Tiki cocktail and it's incredible. Your gonna want to pull up a seat at my home bar and learn how to make it. It's really worth it.
The "Top Notch Volcano" | Tiki Bowl Cocktail Ingredients
4 oz. (120 ml) Fresh Lime Juice
4 oz. (120 ml) Pineapple Juice
3/4 oz. (22.5 ml) Passion Fruit Purée
3 oz. (90 ml) Demerara Simple Syrup
1 oz. (30 ml) Luxardo Maraschino Liqueur
4 oz. (120 ml) Appleton 8 or Appleton Signature Blend Rum
(Another blended lightly aged rum will do)
4 oz. (120 ml) Real McCoy 5 yr Blended Aged Rum
(Plantation 5, or El Dorado 5 or 8 would be a nice sub)
Garnish with a Spent Lime Shell and Sugar Cubes to lite on fire.
*Tip. I used Cruzan 151 overproof rum to douse my sugar cubes for lighting. That's because I did not have lemon extract which burns longer and better.
