Took the family on a family on a short winter adventure in the Utah mountains about 15 mins from the house. It turned out to be about 5 miles round-trip in about 1ft 1/2 deep snow! It hasn't snowed this much in the valley in many years. Sure, two or three inches here but not this much. This last storm which lasted 3 days, delivered six feet of snow in the mountains about an hour away in Salt Lake. Suffice to say, this is a lot of snow!
Regardless, Clark (our border-collie) and the kids needed so much NEEDED exercise. We were the only ones on the trail on a blue-bird day and the amount of snow and frozen waterfall was just the icing on the cake of my birthday!
