tomorrow we actually have a huge Netflix event showcasing a ton of different shows, but of course I wouldn’t be mentioning this unless our beloved Avatar will be shown. It will. And it will be out first ever look at Netflix’s avatar live action. This will make or break the franchise forever. If even a single thing feels off, be it the effects, the bending vfx, the character outfits, the sets… anything, it will sour the franchise for a long time to come. This is obviously becuase of the traumatic experience of the first avatar live action movie all those years ago… This is pretty much the last chance for the Avatar Franchise to break out into live action and reach a much wider audience world wide.

The animated side of the franchise will be totally fine, under the control of Avatar studios, so at least we’ll still have that if the Live action show goes wrong, but Im really hoping it doesn’t.
We have photos of all of the main cast, including Sokka, Katara, Aang and Zuko arriving in Brazil for the event, so you can be absolutely sure that we’re going to get either a trailer or a first look.
Personally, im leaning more towards a first look, with a trailer coming later in the year. As for the release date of the show, I have no idea. I honestly though it would already be out by now, but hey, im just happy we’re getting closer.
The future of Avatar: The Last Airbender franchise looks bright with the upcoming release of Avatar Studios and their plans to create new animated content set in the Avatar universe. Fans can expect to see more stories and adventures involving their favorite characters from the original series.
