This matches The Hoff's glitched time which was the fastest run of this level at the time. At thirty-five seconds the jump intentionally avoids a trigger square for the stealth fighter, as it pushes you off-course in the air otherwise so you have to wait for it (so this is faster than sprinting). Outside of the climb after using the detonator (where I was supposed to jump directly to the slope rather than the ledge beside it) this run is near-perfect for what it intended. Unfortunately, that's an issue, as, when I was nearly done with the run RadxxRyan did a glitched run of this level that also found a few new tricks for a glitchless run and did the final jump without stopping at all, saving about five seconds over mine even when forgetting the glitches that were used, which is a shame but not too bad.

![XIII (PC) Speed Run - Part 22
I dont own this video, I only downloaded and uploaded this video to YouTube. The original owners are Mika sp3ctum Vilpas and Juha Muona Vilpas, and the original page can be found http://speeddemosarchive.com/XIII.html
Submarine 2 [run by sp3ctum]
* I close a lot of doors behind me to give me some time to run away without being shot at.
* I also enter the missile room a bit early, so the sailors get a few seconds to shoot at me. Its still faster than shooting them.
***Possible improvements: This went pretty well. XIII (PC) Speed Run - Part 22](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/OtkIOqanmiw/mqdefault.jpg)

Canyon 2 [run by sp3ctum]
* I do a big air fall slide at the beginning
* I fool the RPG guy behind the mine cart by jumping before he sees me. He predicts that I will keep on rising up, and shoots the rocket far too up, leaving me undamaged.
* I do two more fall slides before entering the ruins (or whatever they are). Why cant every level be like this?
* I do a jump slide to skip going up the third ladder.
* I take a shortcut to skip going up the fourth ladder. I also miss a trigger here, so fewer people spawn to harass me.
***Possible improvements: It may be faster if one didnt go get the sniper rifle, but that would require a lucky shot in the end.
I lose a lot of HP in this level. Thats embarassing. Also, I think I messed up walking to the end trigger. :| A nice segment nevertheless. XIII (PC) Speed Run - Part 16](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/P9Qv8kmUPW4/mqdefault.jpg)
