This is part 23 of my quest mode walkthrough on the 2025 version of TXR. This is the 1st of 6 segments for stage 6. Last episode we completed stage 5 and finished the main story of the game finally. Now we begin the 6th and final stage of the game, which just consists of beating the rest of the wanderers we haven't raced yet so that we can race the final boss and truly beat the game. Up to this point I've paid very little attention as to what their requirements are to get them to race you. I've been dragging my feet on it throughout the playthrough as we've only defeated 20 of the 72 wanderers in the game, excluding the free DLC wanderer, up to this point. Our total rival tally sits at just over 400 of the 457 rivals in the game, 458 if you include DLC. For the most part I only raced wanderers that let me race them throughout the main story, without specifically doing anything to try to get them to race me. So we have a lot of work to do as we still have 52 more to go. On top of that, 3 new end game phantom like "RECORD" bosses have showed up that we have to beat. RECORD:0, 01, and X. All of their names are basically callbacks to previous TXR games in the franchise. And then there's a few other bosses we have to race again one more time like Eternal Polaris as well.
Because I'll constantly have to stop & do research on what gets all the wanderers to appear & race you, progress will be slower than usual, and there will be a lot more video cuts than usual throughout this final stage. We only beat 9 wanderers this episode, putting the tally at 29/72. But on the bright side we have nearly all upgrades unlocked at this point now, with the exception of the last nitrous upgrade. This includes all power upgrades as now our R35 GT-R, which had a ridiculous 994 PS to start the episode, now has a monster 1,149 PS. A massive far cry from what we had to work with just 2 episodes ago. Among the wanderers defeated today were some pretty notable ones as there are a lot of high profile wanderers in this game. Such as Hard Weapon, one of the bosses from the 13 Devils crew in TXR Zero. And Silver Nobleman, who was the leader for the iconic team Rotary Revolution in previous TXR games up until TXR3. Until his younger brother, who was the #2 man on the team, was killed in a horrible crash. He was even briefly a boss in Import Tuner Challenge.
