The Bible gives clear qualifications for leaders in the church. A pastor, teacher, prophet, or spiritual authority should not be quarrelsome, arrogant, abusive, manipulative, or quick-tempered. Leaders are called to be gentle, sober-minded, respectable, self-controlled, and able to teach with humility. So when someone constantly talks down to people, attacks critics, mocks others, or uses their platform to belittle people, we have to ask: is this the fruit of biblical leadership?
This is not about demanding that every preacher be soft-spoken or never speak firmly. There is a difference between biblical rebuke and just being rude. There is a difference between defending truth and having a nasty spirit. There is a difference between correcting error and using spiritual language to bully people into silence.
In this video, we examine Tiphani Montgomery’s words, attitude, and approach through the lens of Scripture. Does her conduct reflect Christlike humility, or does it reveal something much more concerning? The church needs discernment, not celebrity worship. No preacher should be above correction, and no leader should be allowed to mistreat people just because they claim to be anointed.
