Here are challenges 9-A, 9-B and 9-C from TimeSplitters.
00:00 9-A I Can't Hear Anyone Screaming
Kill at least 60 TimeSplitters in 5 minutes. My advice is to go around the ship in a bit of a circle on the upper floor and then the bottom floor and then upper floor again, readjusting your route slightly based on where the radar says most of the enemies congregate. Bit of a tough challenge when I first played it, took me several tries to beat originally, but once I learned the layout and the common spawn points it got a lot more manageable and is barely an inconvenience now. I like it.
05:23 9-B Flight Delay
Escort the Spaceways Stewardess through the terminal. The longest, but I think also the easiest escort mission in the game, never had any trouble with this one. Just stay fairly close to the stewardess the whole way through, pay attention to the radar so you know which direction the enemy is coming but don't run too far ahead to meet them and keep in mind when and where are the best moments to restock on ammo.
10:58 9-C Space Vandals
Protect the 4 crystal formations from waves of enemies with the help of a turret and score at least 25 000 points. This was by far the most difficult challenge for me when I first played the game. I had my face buried in my hands, wondering how the hell to actually beat this. The trick is to memorize the mostly set enemy spawns and start shooting at them just as they're appearing, and pay close attention to the few problem spots where the enemies might stay behind rocks while they're destroying the crystals. Those guys must be what the regular weapon pickups are there for.
The turret, like all weapons, has two firing modes: the bigger, faster firing shots and the weaker, slower, more accurate shots. Use the accurate fire for the lone long distance enemies or enemies that are behind crystals to avoid accidentally breaking them yourself.
Not really a difficult challenge for me anymore, but I can imagine there are people who really hate this, so just remember: memorize common enemy spawns, pay attention to the radar, switch between the firing modes and STAY CALM! You'll be alright.
