First Video Project for 2021! Slab Study Table.
Timber is Albizia which is from the Rain Tree Family (Australian Timbers)
Steel Base 50 x 50 x 1.5 mm Galvanised slapped together with some weld. I used the WIA Weldmatic 200i (Great machine - the best)
I used Osmo MATT for the Protective finish of the wood.
Steel base painted in Matt Black finish.
The timber top had some rot and cracking which was stabilised with Epoxy with Black die to try and blend in...... somewhat.
Special; thanks to "Studio Dubbeld" for the use of the Lucas Mill and Wide Belt sander, and for the Timber Slab. Oh and to Aden at the Studio; Always great value and up for helping out. Aden's Chafe - all good.
