Tim Holtz Distress:
-Ink Pads: Walnut Stain
-Oxide Ink Pads: Pumice Stone
-Spray Stain: Pumice Stone, Black Soot
-Watercolor Pencil: Walnut Stain
-Crayons: Picket Fence, Abandoned Coral, Carved Pumpkin, Mustard Seed, Twisted Citron, Peacock Feather, Mermaid Lagoon, Wilted Violet
-Sprayer
-Mixed Media Heavystock #8 Tags
-Collage Medium Matte
-Texture Paste Opaque

Instructions:
-Cover the entire tag with torn paper scraps using Collage Medium.
-Let everything dry completely, then trim away any excess paper.
-Apply Texture Paste through a stencil + allow it to dry thoroughly.
-Spray a neutral Distress Oxide Spray over the background + mist with water to activate the color.
-Let the spray react for a few seconds before gently blotting away the excess with a paper towel.
-Ink the Picture Wheel die cut using the same technique.
-Adhere the Picture Wheel to background.
-Stitch around the edges of the tag for extra texture + definition.
-Start building the rainbow using Distress Crayons.
-Scribble the crayon directly onto the tag, activate it with a damp brush, then blend. Use your fingers, too. It gives more control of the color.
-Color the die-cut letters for the sentiment. Use Pumice Stone on all of them to keep the palette cohesive.
-Ink the edges of each letter to make them stand out.
-Add subtle shadows around the design with a watercolor pencil to enhance the dimension.
-Die cut the tiny snapshots from the back of the packaging + arrange them around the Picture Wheel.
-Glue sentiment in place.
-Finish with a few black ink splatters.
-Refine the details with black and white gel pens to sharpen the highlights and shadows.
-Thread a ribbon through the top.
