Ho Ho Ho - We are feeling jolly festive!🎄 Watch as @artjournallove uses the @dinawakley Media Collaged Portrait stamp to make a quirky Santa and the Sticks with Leaves to make some Christmas tree branches. It’s lots of fun to think outside the box with your supplies. It makes them so versatile! ✨
Supplies:
Dina Wakley Media:
-Stamps: Sticks with leaves, Collaged Portraits, Block Alphas
-Paint: Ruby
-Scribble Sticks: Evergreen (Set 2); Ruby (Set 1)
-Size 12 Round Brush
-Glue
-Gel Medium
-Plain Collage Tissue
-Square Tag
-Clear Gloss
Ranger:
-Archival Ink Pad: Jet Black, Library Green, Vivid Chartreuse
Instructions:
-Choose a stamp from the Collage Portraits stamp set and lightly spritz with water, scribble over with the Evergreen Scribble Stick and stamp onto the page. Repeat a few times in different places on the page like a patchwork also stamping with Ruby too.
-Use the size 12 Round Brush with a little water on to pull the pigment out a little into the stamped image
-Give a light spritz with Clear Gloss to seal and dry.
-Use one of the Sticks with Leaves stamps and stamp on plain collage tissue paper using some green inks. Over stamp to create a pine type of branch. Cut out and set aside
-Using a Square Tag, stamp the same face onto the tag that was used on the background. Make a Santa hat out of red paper and add to the head.
-Draw some red lines using Scribble Sticks horizontally across the tag like stripes on a candy cane.
-Place the tag in the bottom right hand corner and add the branches around sticking them in with gel medium.
-Use the block alpha stamps to stamp the words “ho ho ho” and add them to the page using the DWM glue.
