Have you been curious about the new 49 and Market dye ink release? There are 15 brand new shades released in the line. In this tutorial, Tai Cortes @MomentstoMemoriesbytai shows you an art journal page in the small Dylusions Creative Journal using a few of the new colors in the release. She begins with a multilayered inky background and along with crackle paste for added interest. She uses elements from the Nostalgic Memories collection, including the 6x8 paper pad, the card stock ephemera and elements from the laser cut ephemera pack. She makes a colorful and textured background using stencils and texture paste. She shares her tips on each of her steps in this mixed media art journal page.
She takes you on a layer by layer journey with ink blending, stenciling and adding texture paste to your page. It may look busy but in the end it all works out so well.
