This vibrant mixed media journal page was created by Bea from @Beawitchedbycrafts. A great way to celebrate a special furry friend in the most colorful way using @ranger_ink products.🐾
Supplies:
Ranger:
-Make-It Stencil: Bold Shapes
-Make-It Stamp: Bold Birthday
-Texture Paste Opaque Matte
-Archival Reinker: Best Dressed, Avocado Toast, Big Plans
-Archival Pad: Jet Black, Avocado Toast
-Artist Brushes
-Letter It Black Fineliner
Tim Holtz Distress:
-Spray Stain Picket Fence
-Sprayer (empty + with water)
Dylusions:
-Ink Spray: Sour Appletini, Lemon Drop
-Creative Journal Square

-Solar Spray: Beluga

-Tissue Paper Or Paper Towel

Instructions:
-Start by ripping pieces of the pages of an old book. Glue the strips down all over your page.
-Wet a piece of paper towel. Add a few drops of Avocado Toast Reinker + rub the paper on the surface where you want the color to be.
-Add a few drops of another archival ink to the back of the spatula, spread it on the page. Do this in different directions.
-Spray page with some water, put some Archival Ink onto a non-porous surface + add some water to the ink. With a brush, start adding some of the ink all over the page, in different thickness strokes. Let dry.
-Add a little bit of Big Plans Reinker to the empty spray bottle + add some water, then spray on the page focusing on the corners.
-Use Sour Appletini + Lemon Drop + spray deliberately where you want the color to be. Let dry.
-Using the Bold Birthday stamp set, choose images to stamp in the background using Avocado Toast.
-Mix texture paste with archival ink to make a pretty color on a stamping block.
-Position the “Bold Shapes” stencil where you want on your page. With the spatula + texture paste you made, spread it over the stencil, be a little “careless” with this step, you don’t want it to look perfect. Remove stencil. Let dry.
-Add splatters with the distress spray stain, using the nozzle.
-Outline page with a fine liner.
-Glue picture in center.
-Stamp “Happy Birthday,” Reposition the cardstock + stamp again to give it a retro vibe. Cut around the letters + glue to the page.
