More thoughts on "blue light protection" below --

I bought these glasses after my friend Dayle did a collaboration ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘
I had been looking for blue light filtering glasses for some time (despite knowing there is currently little to no proof that blue light causes problems). What can I say, I like an accessory! That said, I didn't want to spend a zillion dollars on this particular accessory.

I would consider picking up one of their ~$70 sunglasses. The small ones I bought were among the cheapest pairs, so I don't believe this is representative of their products.

Check out Dayle's video if you'd like to see her styles! Obviously I used her promo code ๐Ÿ˜‰ $10 off at TIJN Eyewear with code 'Dayle'

As for the whole Blue Light Protection thing -

By "stay in my lane" I meant that I do not have the education necessary to make any health claims, and I certainly know better than using my own anecdotal evidence to support a hypothesis. I do work in statistics, and it's so important to consider who is paying for research being performed. I am more likely to trust university, peer reviewed work over any company's private study with 10 participants given a questionnaire asking if they noticed a difference in eye strain.

Fortunately, there are people more qualified than me to talk about these things, and I've summarized what I found below -

health.clevelandclinic.org/do-blue-light-blocking-glasses-actually-work
TLDR - "It may surprise you, but many eye issues that are caused by digital screens arenโ€™t due to blue light."

"The American Academy of Ophthalmology says you donโ€™t need them and has gone on record as not recommending any kind of special eyewear for computer users. The organization says blue light from digital devices does not lead to eye disease and doesnโ€™t even cause eyestrain."

npr.org/2021/02/21/969886124/do-blue-light-blocking-glasses-really-work
TLDR - "ROSENFIELD: Both of the studies actually found that the blue-blocking filters have no effect, no significant effect on digital eye strain. This didn't really come as a major surprise to us because there really is no mechanism whereby the blue light should be causing digital eye strain."
