I've used this bag so frequently since buying it, I wanted to share my thoughts after three months of use! I keep hearing that people don't recommend the 19 because it's a "trend" or it's going to be "over" soon. Well frankly, I don't care. Maybe it's not the financial investment bag, but I reach for this so much more than my classic flap. You should buy what you love. I've had to travel since buying it because we had to find a new apartment, and I loved having this with me! Tweed is also easy to pack.
Not to be too controversial on a Saturday but.... A few thoughts on the classic versus trends debate...
Keep in mind that Chanel had a massive fall in popularity that lasted several decades until Karl Lagerfeld saved them. Chanel was considered stuffy, out of touch, uncool, something just for old ladies, and so on! Yes, Chanel lifted themselves up, and they are back to being hugely popular, but everything has its ups and downs. So buy what you love, and tune out the social media noise pushing you different directions ❤️
