The 555 is probably the most well known integrated circuit out there... and when I hit 555 subscribers on my channel, I just couldn't help thinking: That calls for more celebration than any higher number, being an electronics and technology focused cat.
So the idea was born to do a special about the timer... create a circuit that produces 555Hz or similar... but then I found out that I actually knew very little about that chip. So I turned the idea into an experimentation project to help me understand that little 8 pin chip a bit better!
