We're already half way through Season 11 with our 5th challenge! This time it was Pirate Daz's choice and he went for Gley Lancer on the MegaDrive/Genesis produced by Masaya and released in 1992. I've never played this shmup before, I've really enjoyed playing it, it has a nice learning curve to it. The game is a long one though stretching over 11 levels with a completion time of around 50 mins, I made it to the halfway point most attempts but kept losing it against the horizontal lasers on stage 6. I reckon I could've got further but just couldn't muster the will to do any more 25 min runs....Cool shmup for sure and we're gonna get a few 1CC's also for sure, maybe even a couple No Death Clears?
