Gradius or Nemesis as it was called here in the UK is one of my favourite shmups ever so when my mate Juffer recommended a new homebrew of the game I had to check it out and it’s class! It’s called Universe and was released sometime this year in Japan? I couldn’t find any other information about it unfortunately so who coded it I have no idea. There’s 7 levels of intense action plus a couple of bonus stages to play through, weapons editing and other options. The game plays sweet and captures the feel of the classic it pays homage to very nicely .
