Fitting a canopy to my frame is allowing the option of fitting bigger props. 3" instead of only 2.5".
I didn't want to replace these perfectly good and relatively new motors for the lower kv of 4500 just so I can run 3" and 4s, so I lowered the max throttle to 65% as a starting point. This reduces the max rpm to about that of the 4500kv variant. I still however get full resolution of the stick. Just means, for example my hover point is higher than the previous point of around 20%.
I wouldnt say it feels less responsive, when using the same setup and packs, just not as fast and if anything more controllable as its not so aggressive. But when I used the 4s. That punch came right back to how it was before, only not melting the motors doing so.
