In this video I made a service call for a gentleman who complained that the monitor in his Thor Ace motorhome was intermittent, and pressing on it would enable the monitor to start operating again. To repair this unit all I had to do was remove the connectors and reattach them again. I considered using an anti corrosive lubricant, but I wasn't sure if that might cause any additional problems due to mild insulating properties of such a lubricant. I suspect that's only a problem on ribbon cables where contact surfaces don't grip very hard, but I'd like to hear the opinions of others on this topic.
