Grants Pass TV Repair | Two LEDs In Parallel Can Rectify Radio Waves And Light Up! @GrantsPassTVRepair | Uploaded 7 months ago | Updated 3 hours ago
In a previous video I demonstrated how you can light up an LED with a tuned antenna, and a reverse biased diode in parallel with your LED,, but I didn't realize you could do the same thing using two ordinary LEDs. The LED circuit was not nearly as sensitive as my design which used the 1SS86 diode, and could not respond to WiFi signals from my router, but it did work on my 200 food long wire antenna, thanks to a close by radio station and my two meter walkie talkie was also able to light up my LEDs, my transmitter antenna had to be real close to the antenna on my LEDs. Here is a link to the first video if you want more information on the diode and LED circuit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vHVmJ5lD9jc&t=18s.
