Over the past few months I have been toy hunting the DIAMOND THOMAS 75th Anniversary Trackmaster Push Along Thomas The Tank thats only available for a LIMITED TIME. Where I live the supply chain of toys has been severely disrupted. It's very difficult to find the nice 75th Anniversary Thomas & Friends toys. The most difficult is the Hot Wheels Thomas The Tank. I can see via the online selling sites this Thomas Hot Wheels car is selling for 10 time it's peg price. Mind you compared to a 2014 Take N Play Golden Thomas at over $100 it's still a bargain of sorts. I'm not sure how many of the Thomas Hot Wheels are in a Hot Wheels stock carton. But if the staff in store have any sniff that this little toy car / train can be sold online for much more than the peg price the chances of this Hot Wheels being on the pegs is going to be very slim. I did find two more Diamond Thomas's but they were being kept in a box and not pegged when the Thomas area was being restocked. As a customer of the shop I purchased what was on the floor before is disappeared out the back. Possible to be sold online for five the peg price. Who knows in a few years it may be worth over $100 like the 2014 Golden Thomas. Anyway I did find a FACTORY ERROR rare Trackmaster Thomas packed with a Percy.
