Teddy & Bubble are two 8 month old Kittens who are Brother & Sister. They have a passion for bringing in into the house gifts from the garden. Cats are strange and amazing pets, and there is no better way to says "I love you" like a string of gift giving with Lizards, Cicadas and Frogs. The garden critters are all alive and well and require a rescue from the house.Bubble & Teddy are just showing their love over and over.
This video is just a fraction of what's brought into the house, most times its the small garden skinks. And from this activity it's given me an insight into the huge numbers of lizards and skinks around out house. Fluffy was never like this. She watches this going on every day.
What's really strange about this Summer is the lack of Spiders & Wasps that are normally all around the house. No Redbacks, no Garden Orbs, no Mud Dauber Wasps, no St Andrews Cross spiders and not many Black house Spiders. We have had two very wet years and maybe this is affecting the ability of spiders to get through the Winters. Or maybe it's because the critters who eat spiders have control of the garden. I'm sure an expert will explain.
