UCSF Fitness and Recreation Member Services Concierge Joey Convento believes that creating community starts with being healthy, be it a trip to the gym, volunteering, mentoring, or attending an event. His goal is simply to give everyone an opportunity to enjoy life a little more, helping them promote health and truly living UCSF’s mission.

Joey is the recipient of the 2025 Chancellor Award for Public Service.

The UCSF Founders Day Awards celebrate the outstanding service of faculty, staff, and learners to the university and the UCSF community in fulfillment of our mission of advancing health worldwide.
