Galbot ET1 Galaxy Star is a humanoid robot designed to watch human movements, learn them in real time, and reproduce what it sees. Its debut included street dancing, floor movements, handstands, and synchronized movements alongside a human dancer.

Behind the demonstration is Galbot's AstraBrain WBC general purpose cerebellum model, which the company says gives ET1 autonomous learning capabilities. Instead of relying entirely on previously programmed movements, the humanoid robot can recognize human movement trajectories and attempt to replicate them on the spot.

Galbot says its motion technology is supported by approximately 100,000 hours of human movement data, helping Galaxy Star perform smoother and more natural movements. But dancing is only one demonstration of what this technology could eventually accomplish.

ET1 is being developed as a physically intelligent agent capable of combining autonomous learning, multimodal interaction, perception, and advanced motion control. Technologies like these could eventually allow humanoid robots to learn new physical tasks by observing humans rather than requiring every movement to be individually programmed.

Could autonomous learning be the breakthrough that finally makes humanoid robots useful in everyday environments? Let us know what you think in the comments, and remember to like the video and subscribe to DPCcars for more robotics, artificial intelligence, technology, and automotive news.
