John Hannah’s sermons are often filled with shouting, music, repetition, dramatic pauses, and emotional intensity—but where is the clear biblical teaching?

In this video, we examine whether the excitement and crowd reactions are covering up a lack of context, exposition, and sound doctrine. A sermon should do more than make people shout, cry, run, or feel inspired for a moment. Biblical preaching should clearly explain the text, accurately represent its meaning, and point people to Jesus Christ.

Emotional delivery is not automatically bad, but passion cannot replace substance. Repeating catchy phrases over music is not the same as carefully teaching Scripture. When the atmosphere becomes more important than the actual message, the congregation may leave excited without truly understanding the Bible.

Is John Hannah delivering powerful biblical preaching, or is it mostly hype with very little Scripture?
