Tye Tribbett recently made a bold statement claiming he is tired of the money games in church. He talked about being done with the gimmicks, manipulation, and the constant pressure surrounding money in church spaces. On the surface, that sounds like something many believers would agree with. The problem is, the same people who speak against these money games often continue to share platforms, attend conferences, and participate in environments where those exact same practices are normal.

In this video, we take a closer look at the contradiction. If you are truly done with the money games, why keep showing up to conferences where people are pressured to sow special seeds, give large offerings, and believe their breakthrough is tied to an amount of money? At some point, it is not enough to simply say you disagree with it. The question becomes whether you are willing to separate from it.
This is not about attacking Tye Tribbett personally. This is about accountability, consistency, and calling out the larger culture in many church conferences where money has become the main focus. Many people are tired of hearing leaders condemn manipulation while still benefiting from the same systems that promote it.
The church does not need more performances, celebrity platforms, or emotional offering games. The church needs sound doctrine, biblical giving, repentance, and leaders who are willing to stand against error even when it costs them invitations, relationships, and popularity.
If Tye Tribbett is truly done with the money games, then the next step should be simple: stop supporting the places where those games are still being played.
