In this video, I’m responding to Pastor Amere May after comments that I believe crossed the line from disagreement into a personal challenge.
This is bigger than two men going back and forth online. If a pastor, bishop, preacher, or Christian leader disagrees with criticism, the answer should be Scripture, facts, and accountability—not threats, intimidation, or talk about fighting somebody because they challenged your teaching or your associations.
I’ve never said pastors have to like me. I’ve never said they have to agree with All Things Theology. If I critique a sermon, call out false doctrine, address prosperity preaching, or question something happening in the church, people are free to respond. But there is a major difference between defending your position and turning the conversation into, “I want to fight you.”
That is what we’re discussing here.
According to the comments and statements we’re reviewing, Amere May made it clear that he does not like All Things Theology and continued using language about wanting to physically confront me. At one point, when the issue of beating me up was raised, his response was essentially that he still felt that way and people should “pray for” him.
That is not the kind of response I expect from someone occupying Christian leadership.
