This is My Story this an indoor percussion show where this man tells his story to his grandchild. In Part One, we talk about his early childhood, in part 2, here talks about going into adulthood and why it is important to make great life decisions. In Part 3 (coming soon), the grandfather dies in the hospital and his grandson promises to continue his legacy and will tell his story to younger generations.
Featuring an arrangement of a famous hymn called "Blessed Assurance", we will take an exciting journey throughout this piece. We start from a transition into two featuring music from "This is My Story: Movement One". Then, we experience a duet between two voices singing the first part of blessed assurance (If I could add lyrics I would but the signing would sound like ahhs). Next, the entire percussion ensemble makes an impact and will blow your minds! Finally, we start to transition into "This is My Story: Movement 3" with a sad C minor transposition and that would be the end of the movement.
