LIMINAL WATERS is back with another major update, and this one might be the game's best yet.
In this video, we check out all three newly updated levels. First, we revisit Level 9, a remastered version of the original level from the game's beta days when LIMINAL WATERS was still known as "Still Waters." Not only has the classic level received a complete visual overhaul, but it also includes entirely new areas to explore.
Next, we dive into the brand-new Level 10, which transports players to a surreal cloud city floating above an alien world. The scale, atmosphere, and environmental design are unlike anything I've seen in a liminal space game.
Finally, we return to Level 1, which has also received a significant rework, bringing it up to the visual standard of the newer levels.
I've said it before, but LIMINAL WATERS is rapidly becoming one of the best liminal space games I've ever played. The developer continues to improve and expand the experience with every update, and it's been incredible watching the game evolve from its early access roots into something truly special.
If you're a fan of liminal spaces, poolrooms, dreamlike environments, atmospheric exploration, and Backrooms-inspired games, you're going to want to see this update.
