I went into Trees Hate You expecting a chill walk through the forest… and immediately regretted it.
This game looks harmless at first, but every step is a trap. Nothing is safe, nothing is predictable, and the entire forest feels like it’s working against you. What starts as a simple walk home quickly turns into a full-on rage experience filled with cheap deaths, bait setups, and constant “gotcha” moments.
This is my full playthrough of the demo, and it definitely pushed my patience more than I expected. If you like indie horror, troll games, and rage-inducing gameplay where the game straight up lies to you, this one is worth checking out.
