West Rock Ridge's estimated attendance rose from nearly 79,000 visitors in 2024 to more than 198,000 in 2025.

The sharp increases in attendance resulted from more accurate attendance records rather than a dramatic jump in the number of people visiting the parks, a spokesperson for the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection said. Several parks had incomplete attendance estimates in 2024, while 2025 visitor totals were "better captured," the spokesperson said.
