This Cove Bit Turns a Plain Edge Into a Classic Profile  @ToolsToday

A cove bit is one of those profiles that looks simple until you see how much it changes the edge of a piece. For this short reel, I installed the Amana Tool 49118 Cove Router Bit in the JessEm router table and used it to cut a smooth concave profile on a wood sign blank. It’s a classic molding shape that can stand on its own or work as part of a larger profile with beads, roundovers, or fillets. A small detail, but it gives the edge a much more finished look.
