The Reverse cove-and-bead bit, which has the cove coming off the bearing produces, the reverse of the classical cove & bead. Radii of both cove and bead are identical. Use in a handheld or table-mounted router.This profile starts with a quick cleanup as I remove the protective wax coating from the Amana Tool 49214 Carbide Tipped Double Roman Ogee Router Bit before setting it up in the JessEm router table.After getting the bit installed, I ran a wood sign blank through the table to cut the edge profile. The Double Roman Ogee shape gives the blank a more finished look without needing anything overly complicated. It’s a nice example of how much detail a single router bit can add to a simple piece.All tools used are available from @toolstoday, check them out on our site!
