In 3D printing, you are sometimes visited by the flying spaghetti monster. This deity appears when your print separates from the print bed, leaving you with a pile of wasted time and regret.
I was printing my cheese wedge paper towel holder in yellow. I stepped out of the office for dinner, when I came back, this happened.
I knew the corners had peeled from the plate, but while I was gone the whole bottom half of the top print sheared off the build plate, and the top half somehow recovered enough to keep printing correctly. As it's printing now, the top half will complete without stopping the print!!
The flying spaghetti monster graced me with a unique misprint that I'll never duplicate again.
