All the slicers and all the planning in #3dprinting are for naught when you run out of filament. Here I was clearing out some samples of @Colorfabb PLA Economy for a project.
Taz5's don't have a filament run-out detector on them, so you do have to monitor them closely when you're running low. I do still like the Greg Wade extruder for situations like this where you can easily get pliers into the head to change out filaments.
