First, I am so thankful there were no injuries or damages during this wild and insane truck jacking joyride. This guy might not be the brightest bulb or the best driver, but we all know how bad this could have ended. Personally I think he has experience driving for a company, because despite the grinding and unsafe driving he didn't do too bad lol.
The joyride itself only lasted less than half an hour, and I so apologize if any of you were terrorized by this psycho and thought it was us driving. I don't know what substances he was on but he was beyond brazen to steal a tow truck with big OFFICIAL POLICE GARAGE badging all over it. Using Motive, I was able to track and see this guy in real time then relay that to the police.
We also got help from our buddies at Kruger Tow who found the tow truck just moments before we showed up. The thief tried to flee on foot but between Kruger, Hector and his helper, this guy was caught and held until the police arrived. I really hope you guys all learn from this lesson and realize how fast and easy it is for these criminals to steal a vehicle or truck.
