Should Truck Drivers in the US be Required to Speak English? First, I really hope you guys keep this civil in the comments. As a CDL holder myself, and someone that interacts with them 247 as my job, I feel like I have a unique insight on this super hot topic. I really really hope anyone commenting watches the video first before running to post something because the video is probably not what you first expect.
This isn't political, or anything to do with a race or nationality. My videos have accidents from drivers born all over the world, including the US. So please keep the focus at hand, which is what the law says and why does that even matter if it is never ever enforced.
And since it's never enforced, what is the point? Should more laws be made? New agencies? Would that really be efficient and solve anything? Who knows, your guess is as good as mine. All I know is this is a hot topic in the news right now after that horrible Florida crash so I'm hoping to get a super insightful conversation started as someone in this industry.
