This week, I 'ave been mostly playin' They Bleed Pixels. Released in 2012, a fun (if fiendishly-difficult) precision-platformer with decent combat, it still holds up a decade later. I was looking through my library, checking achievement stuff, and realised the devs added two more levels since I last played in, uh... 2013. So I've been brushing up on my skills by going through earlier stages and cleaning out all the earlier achievements. And whilst this game has manageable par-times (listed with each level), I figured it'd be worth sharing these for those interested. Most of them will be deathless clears as they ended up faster than the speed-clears I'd picked up before, but some of these WILL have failures.
This one in particular is the reason I'm uploading ALL of these, because in spite of some stages being deathless clears, they were IMMENSELY scuffed and made me value the achievements all the more. Though it IS entertaining to see over 32 hours of game-time condensed into 45 minutes.
This video covers the fourth dream, where a baptism by fire for the book does little to quell the nightmares, as a grand conflagration gives way to crude machinery. This is followed by the finale, where the young lady makes a final stab for freedom.
