Two young elephant bulls turned the Okaukuejo waterhole into their own dusty wrestling arena! 🐘
What began with a little pushing and leaning quickly became an energetic play fight. Trunks were raised, bodies collided and one of the young bulls eventually tumbled into the dust.
Young elephant bulls frequently spar with one another as they grow. These playful contests help them develop strength, coordination and confidence while learning how to read another elephant’s movements and boundaries.
It may look dramatic, but this was two youngsters testing their skills and enjoying a lively moment together before everything calmed down again.
