Videographer Joel Silver was hired to follow former fashion model Samira Frasch around the country to record the "excitement" that seemed to get stirred up whenever people were around her first child.

Silver says he got to know the couple pretty well as they visited different cities every weekend to capture these moments. So it was a shock when he found out he had been found dead in her swimming pool, leaving behind her two beloved children.

Silver says those kids are the reason why he wanted to be a part of this documentary about Samira and the mystery surrounding her death, "I'm hoping that one day her kids will see a story like this and they'll have a way of knowing how much their mother really loved them."

"Dead in the Deep End" premieres Sunday, Sept 19 at 10 p.m. ET/PT only on HLN.
