The family of a fallen Marine has refiled a defamation lawsuit against actor Alec Baldwin. They claim he accused one of them of being an insurrectionist. The sisters and widow of fallen U.S. Marine Rylee J. McCollum say Baldwin got his Instagram followers to harass and threaten them after McCollum's sister shared a picture of protesters at the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

This is the second time the family has tried to take the actor to court. An earlier suit was thrown out because it was filed in Wyoming where the court has no jurisdiction over Baldwin who lives in New York.
