We've unveiled a national blue plaque to Esmé Church in Bradford, West Yorkshire. 🔵

Church was a trailblazing actress, director and theatre educator who championed the idea that world-class theatre should be accessible beyond London.

Despite leaving her mark on England's history, Church is one of many 20th-century women who are largely unheard of today.
