A Bride for War
I heard a heartbeat. It is a very slow heartbeat. And then I saw a breath. Like you would see in winter. Then I heard the Lord say, “She's alive. She's alive. She's alive. She's alive.”
The Lord is awakening His bride. And the bride is arising to take her place next to Him. God is coming back for a bride, not to rule over but a bride to rule with. The bride is alive.
Then I saw a glacier crack and fall. Followed by a morgue refrigerator. Then I heard the Lord say, “She is not dead. She has not rolled over. She is breathing, and her heart is beating. She is alive.”
I believe that the bride is awakening. The bride is coming alive. The bride is breathing. And the bride is finally realizing who we are called to be. We are a submissive bride, but we are a powerful bride. We stand in the full authority of who Christ created us to be. He isn't only coming back for a spotless bride but a bride to rule alongside Him. Side by side, in wisdom, power, and revelation. A bride who is unafraid to prophesy over their children. A bride who is unafraid to arise and lead her flock. A bride who is unafraid to stand when no one else is standing. A bride that's unafraid to resist the enemy and all of his darts and arrows. The bride is alive. She is alive. It sounded like a loud heartbeat. I initially thought it was a drum. One loud beat, then two, then three. Each set was followed by long pauses, and the Lord said, “She is awakening. She's been in slumber.”
The enemy overplays his hand. And, this last season, the enemy overplayed his hand. And all of a sudden, Christians from around the world have awakened. And they are no longer blind to the plots of the enemy. But for us to strengthen, we must arise. Unify as one body as we arise. We must speak with our voice.
Then I heard the Lord say, “My bride is not mute. What My bride speaks, she speaks with the authority that I have given her to create and destroy. To create the things that I planned for her to create and establish. And to destroy the things that the enemy has set before her to derail her. The enemy has set up strongholds that a whisper from My bride will destroy. Not through her authority but with the authority of her Bridegroom.”
If you listen, you can hear the walls crumbling. There are walls crumbling. There are walls of religion crumbling. The strongholds of religion are crumbling.
I heard the Lord say, “This is what I have against the American church. They're too comfortable. They are a bride built for comfort and not a bride built for war. I have called you to war, and you have not changed out of your wedding gown. This is not the time for the wedding feast. But a time for My bride to arise as one and let their voice be heard and let her authority reigns.”
God wants a bride to reign with Him and is fearless. This generation that is rising now is a fearless generation. The world has misdefined you as being selfish, comfort seeking, and always seeking handouts. But you all want more. What I see in this generation is a generation who is saying, “I am tired of the status quo. I am tired of showing up to church for my comfort. I'm tired of going to a church just to receive it when I have something to give.”
God is awakening our hearts and unifying our heartbeats. The Lord is touching our hearts with His. The human body is perfectly symmetrical, except for the heart, which is asymmetrical, off center. Why is that? Because when two people hug, they become symmetrical. The Lord is drawing close to us. Face to face, heart to heart, chest to chest, arms in arms, and he is asking, “Will you allow My heart to touch yours? My desire is for the hearts of My people to have the same pulse as My heart.”
That means what He loves, we love. What breaks His heart, breaks ours, and what He calls important is important to us. This generation is starting to remember saying,“Isn't there a Bridegroom next to me? Isn't my King still on the throne, and isn't there a throne next to Him with my name on it?” The Lord is calling us to our throne. To be seated with Him. Seated to reign. Seated with power. I can hear the bride gasp for air, suddenly realizing she's alive. The bride is saying “I am not dead. I am alive. I am not dead. I am alive. Gather the troops. I am changing out of my wedding gown into my armor.”
This is the season for us to arise, take charge, and move forward.
