Fifty years ago, President Lyndon Johnson declared a "War on Poverty" during his 1964 State of the Union address. Two months later, network journalists joined together to interview him for his 100th day in office. During the interview, NBC's David Brinkley got a chance to ask Johnson about how he plans to distinguish his presidency from those that came before. The President takes this opportunity to elaborate on his desire to broaden socioeconomic opportunities, and expound his fiscal and foreign agendas.
